Supervisor Ref: C0017
Full time position (37.5 hours); salary £6.10 p/h or £6.27p/h with appropriate SVQ + £2000 allowance.
(Temporary to cover maternity leave)
This position involves supporting a number of gentlemen to live a life that is as fulfilling as possible. It is important that you have a caring, practical approach, along with a positive attitude to the rights of people who have a disability and the motivation to help them achieve their potential.
You will be given a significant degree of leadership responsibility for the day to day running of the service. You will support the Service Manager in leading a team which provides agreed levels of person centred support. An appropriate professional qualification or a commitment to working towards achieving a relevant qualification (SVQ) is desirable for this post.

Supporting individuals in their own homes you’ll play a key role in supporting people with complex needs in all the every day aspects of their life. Working on a rolling rota across 7 days, this will include weekends, waking nights and sleepover duties. An allowance will be paid of £25.68 for sleepovers.
Experience isn’t essential as you’ll receive fully funded, accredited training and lots of support. We can also support you to achieve SVQ qualifications. What is important is a caring, practical approach and a positive attitude to the rights of people who have a disability.
