Quality of Life
Quality of life and outcomes based practice are increasingly a part of the discourse about how organisations work with people who have a learning disability.
At present there are no clearly understood concepts or applications for quality of life outcome measures. That is why we are a part of the Kingsholm Group - looking at new ways of understanding these issues.
To help us understand how well Real Life Options is performing, we currently use the following tools:
- Service User forums
- Family satisfaction surveys
- In-house inspection systems
- Regulators' reports
As we develop ways of refining and promoting quality of life measures, we will publish them on this website.
