Outreach and Domiciliary
Based on the same philosophy and key principles as RLO's supported housing programme, our Outreach services have been developed to help people to:
- Live in their own home or in the family home
- Access local community facilities for shopping and leisure
- Use public transport
- Pursue further education opportunities
- Develop and maintain personal friendships
- Find and maintain open employment
- Access health care
- Have a holiday
- Become involved in their local community (eg volunteering)
Domiciliary services provide help with daily living skills and the personal support that people sometimes need to maintain their quality of life. RLO staff will help with all aspects of personal care, such as bathing, dressing, laundry, preparing food and other domestic tasks. We will encourage and enable people to help themselves whenever and wherever possible.
RLO Outreach and Domiciliary services provide extremely flexible approaches to individual support. They are tailor made for each person and take account of their current needs and their future aspirations.
