Introduction
People with learning disabilities and intellectual impairments often need support to help them take control of their own lives. Welcome to Real Life Options.
Our VISION is a society in which disabilities are not a barrier to people taking control of their lives.
Our MISSION is to:
- Be passionate about delivering high quality personal support to customers who have a disability
- Have a responsive and flexible approach in all areas of our activities
- Provide professional, innovative and effective customer focused services.
Real Life Options (RLO) strives to provide self-directed support that puts people with disabilities in control of their own lives. We work to ensure they have equal rights as citizens and are entitled to receive support to maximise their independence and social inclusion, and to exercise choice about their own lives.

Range of Services
Supported Housing is designed and managed to provide people with independent lifestyles that meet their own aspirations, as members of their local community.
Outreach and Domiciliary support works to enable people to live in their own homes or with their families and to actively engage in the community where they live, attending college, working and developing leisure activities.
Residential Care Homes provide people with personal care and support, with a range of activities of their own choosing; along with the minimal possible structure to offer people the security that they need.
Short Breaks offer people up to two weeks in purpose designed residential homes, where staff are available to help them get the most from the break from their usual environment. We also offer home based respite services.
Vocational Day Opportunities offer vocational, recreational and educational activities to help people achieve their goals and dreams – from making a cup of tea to finding employment.
Disability Reports are a specialist service for solicitors, local authorities and insurance companies, who need expert and quality of life reports for personal injury compensation claims, clinical assessments and future care needs assessments.
