We are constantly looking for ways to improve and provide the best service for the people we support.  ‘Good to Great’ is an exciting new initiative for 2011.  It is a programme designed to enable Real Life Options to become more person centred and responsive to the people we support.

The programme involves a leadership team – a cross section of RLO people from all levels and all regions, who meet regularly over a two year period, to ensure that Real Life Options moves from being a good organisation to become a great organisation.

Lisa Watchorn commented:
  “The Good to Great programme means that the people we support will have better lives, as those who support them are more empowered to listen and act on what they say.  We look forward to involving the whole organisation in the programme and embedding the tools and practices into our every day working lives”.

The first meeting of the leadership team took place on Tuesday 10^th March, facilitated by Helen Sanderson Associates.  The leadership team is made up of managers, administrators, support workers and people who we support.  After a day of discussion, deliberation and presentations, good progress was made.  You will soon get the opportunity to have your say on the future of the organisation with a questionnaire that will be shared during forthcoming team meetings.
