One of my ambitions is to be a spokesperson for people with a disability.”

Tamara 300 x 300I want to finish my college course and get a job one day. At Real Life Options I like to get involved - I took part in a ‘Making Change Happen’ course where I learnt a lot about my rights, how to choose a support worker and how to make sure people know what I need.

I’m also on the Real Life Options advisory board for Scotland – a group that I helped develop! We make decisions and give advice about what the organisation should do in the future.

I recently received a ‘Spirit of the Community’ award from my local community centre where I live in North East Scotland. I got it because people thought I was cheery and helpful.

I also have lots of interests like sports, dancing and singing, playing on the computer and going to concerts. Last year I went to see The Wanted at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.
